I feel the same way about my ki...I love this post. I feel the same way about my kitchen, and suspect most hard-core home cooks do, too, because we know what we can make ... in spaces that are actually more appropriate for "making do." Charles and my parents made a veggie lasagne in my crazy small nook of a kitchen on Christmas Eve, and while the resulting dish was, as always, perfect, they were so frustrated by my space.
