i dug these carrots up from the garden yesterday, and i swear, they are actually growing under there! the ones i dug up a month ago were much smaller.
hard to believe really, when it's overcast and cold for weeks on end.
plants are amazing things.
i cannot get over how crisp and sweet these beauties are.
